My name is Stephen and I teach English.
I am originally from the United Kingdom and have made the Czech Republic my home. I live in Prague and speak Czech fluently.
My background includes teaching, international business, and foreign policy. I focus my time on teaching English, international business, public speaking, and musical composition and performance.

I offer lessons for businesses and organisations, as well as individual English and Czech lessons for students with a range of levels, from beginner to advanced. Perhaps you are just starting out, want a weekly chat, or need to perfect your language in complex areas like international trade and diplomacy. Lessons cost 990 CZK each for 50 minutes
1 lesson
One lesson costs 1190 CZK for 50 minutes
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations and rescheduling by teacher or student should be agreed at least one week before the scheduled lesson.
In case of unavoidable cancellation less than one week before the lesson (e.g. illness), the teacher or student must be informed as soon as possible before the planned start of the lesson.
More about Stephen
I am a creative arts professional and teacher, with a background in international business and foreign relations. At college I studied English language and literature and at age 18 had my first teaching experience, volunteering as an English teacher for young adults in Prague.
After studying Czech as part of my degree at University College London, I took part in the EU's Comenius project through the British Council as an English language assistant. Since then I have spent the last 10 years working in senior positions in Prague, including for a foreign embassy, chamber of commerce, and global communications agency.
I have enjoyed working in a range of different sectors with all kinds of people. I currently focus my professional activities on public speaking, content creation, teaching, and music. I love good coffee, tea and beer, and enjoy ballroom dancing and snowboarding.
